Hull KR Foundation to Open ‘The Nest’ a New Youth Hub Supporting Young People into Employment

Hull KR Foundation is proud to announce the launch of ‘The Nest’, a dedicated space designed to help young people aged 16–24 take their next steps into employment, apprenticeships, education and training. This new youth hub is part of an exclusive contractual agreement with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
Opening on Monday 3 August at Princess Quay Shopping Centre in Hull city centre, The Nest has been created to provide free, personalised support in a welcoming and inspiring environment where young people can build confidence, develop skills and access new opportunities.
Delivered by Hull KR Foundation in partnership with the DWP and a wide network of local organisations, the Youth Hub brings together employers, training providers and specialist support services under one roof, making it easier than ever for young people to access the help they need.
Visitors to the hub will be able to benefit from:
Free one-to-one careers guidance.
Employability coaching.
CV writing and interview preparation support.
Access to employment, apprenticeship, education and training opportunities.
Skills development workshops.
Employer engagement events.
Wellbeing support.
Digital access and support.
The Nest will serve as the official DWP Youth Hub for Hull, strengthening collaboration between local partners and ensuring young people have access to a comprehensive network of support in one accessible location. Designed with young people at its heart, the new facility features dedicated spaces for careers advice, employer engagement and digital access, creating a modern, youth-friendly environment where every visitor feels welcomed, valued and supported.
