Take the Leap for Keep Them in the Game

The Hull KR Foundation is inviting supporters to take on an unforgettable fundraising challenge by abseiling from the West Stand gantry at Sewell Group Craven Park—all in support of our Keep Them in the Game campaign.

Taking place on Monday 10th August 2026, participants will descend from the gantry at the top of the West Stand to the bottom of the seating area, experiencing the stadium from a completely new perspective while raising vital funds to help protect and enhance sport and physical activity opportunities for children in schools across Hull and the East Riding.

Why Your Support Matters

Every week, the Hull KR Foundation works alongside 24 partner schools, delivering more than 106 hours of sessionsthat inspire thousands of children to be active, healthy and confident.

Our work goes far beyond delivering sport.

Through specialist coaching, active learning sessions, player visits, exclusive Hull KR experiences and positive role models, we help children build confidence, improve their wellbeing and create memories that last a lifetime.

However, recent reductions in Government Sports Premium funding have placed these opportunities under increasing pressure. While PE remains part of the curriculum, many schools are facing difficult decisions about funding the additional coaching, enrichment programmes and wider sporting experiences that have such a positive impact on children's lives.

That's why we're asking our community to help Keep Them in the Game.

Every pound raised through this challenge will help us continue delivering specialist sessions, inspiring experiences and life-changing opportunities for children across our region.

Whether you're looking to conquer a fear of heights, tick off a bucket-list experience or simply support an incredible cause, this is your chance to make a real difference.

No previous abseiling experience is needed. Our experienced instructors will provide a full safety briefing and all specialist safety equipment before you descend from the iconic West Stand gantry.

💷 Registration Fee: £30

🎯 Minimum Sponsorship: £70 (in addition to the registration fee)

👧 Age: Open to anyone aged 8 years and over.
