Hull KR Foundation and Yunex Traffic Launch New Partnership

We are proud to announce a new Social Value partnership with Yunex Traffic, established as part of their recent contract award with Hull City Council. This collaboration represents more than a partnership – it is a shared commitment to creating lasting, positive change for communities across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

By working together and combining our expertise and resources, we will deliver initiatives that address key local needs, create new opportunities for residents, and inspire future generations.

Our Collaborative Initiatives

Together with Yunex Traffic, we will deliver meaningful programmes across four key areas:

Road Safety and Education: We will support the promotion of Yunex Traffic’s annual road safety competition for local primary schools. As part of this initiative, Yunex Traffic will provide funding for the winning school to enjoy a stadium visit, helping to connect learning with sport in an engaging and memorable way.

Inclusive Education through AI: To support teachers and improve learning outcomes, Yunex Traffic will deliver annual training sessions for our staff and local teachers focused on using AI for inclusive lesson planning, with particular emphasis on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Career Mentoring and Employability: Yunex Traffic colleagues will deliver career talks and mentoring sessions for young people engaged with the Hull KR Foundation, alongside practical employability support including job coaching, CV advice and interview preparation. These sessions will help open pathways into the industry for individuals facing barriers to employment.

Supporting Grassroots Sports: Through staff collections, supplier contributions and fundraising events, Yunex Traffic will donate sports equipment to support our inclusive grassroots sports programmes, helping us promote physical activity, health and wellbeing within our communities.

A Shared Vision for the Future

This partnership aligns closely with our mission to use the power of sport, education and opportunity to improve lives. By working alongside Yunex Traffic, we can extend our reach and ensure support is delivered where it is needed most.

We are excited about the positive impact this partnership will have across Hull and the East Riding, and we look forward to working together to build stronger, healthier and more inclusive communities.
